Hey there! Welcome to Blossom's Beauty! In 2023, urged by my husband to start a small business to get out some creative energy I started Blossom's Beauty. I was inspired to dive into making soap and other all natural bath products by my grandmother who taught me how on her farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The soap she taught me to make was very harsh on the skin, but it would get ya clean. I started my journey out of a love for creativity and the fun of making soap. I love the chemistry behind soap making, and learning which oils have different fatty acids that lend different properties to soap. I use coconut oil, or Babassu if you are allergic to coconut oil, to increase hardness and cleanliness, olive oil for solubility, and castor oil for a good lather and extra moisture. I mix a blend of 5 different oils to get the right balance of cleanliness and moisture for your skin. Plus, each bar is packed with plants and flowers locally sourced from local gardeners. With these I infuse oils and add them to my products so every single one feels like a little work of art. I strive to blend the beauty of nature with the importance of self care. Enjoy!
